THE CHALLENGE
Bright Icon was jointly appointed to supply the BERGER in Australia with products / ideas to promote their “Berger 90 Not Out” for the summer season of the cricket in Melbourne 2006.
BERGER required a product that was cricket orientated and one that would resemble Australia and sporting lifestyle in general.
The logo of BERGER and 90 years in business and NOT OUT was the theme and message to get promoted.
Strict time lines and budgets were set to deliver the range for product launches within Australia and to coincide with the developments that were in progress.
Each product for the “Affiliate Program” needed to be tracked to the people who were using and individual details of each recipient for tracking and promotional purposes.
THE SOLUTION
Bright Icon was set with the task to design and manufacture a suitable product and finally a traditional cricket bucket hat was chosen. The hat would be handed out and worn by people attending the cricket.
THE RESULT
Bright Icon successfully delivered over 14,000 premium 100% Cotton Bucket Hats with adjustable pull tight toggles with 3D embroidering on all sides and the Southern Cross on the top for the campaign.
By all reports received the promotion was a huge success and seen on many TV stations during the One Day series.
All budgets / quality control and delivery time lines were achieved before deadlines. |
